The 17STRONG Board and the City of Hamilton are proud to announce the 2026 Hamilton Neighborhoods Summit, themed “Connecting on Purpose.”

This theme captures the mission of 17STRONG: strengthening Hamilton one neighborhood at a time by building intentional connections among residents, organizations, and community partners. Connecting on Purpose reminds us that community doesn’t just happen by chance; it happens when people show up, reach out, and work together toward a shared vision for their city.

The 2026 Summit will bring together residents from all 17 neighborhoods for a day filled with inspiration, collaboration, and celebration, featuring:

  • Engaging breakout sessions and community-led discussions

  • Recognition of local leaders through the annual 17STRONG Awards

  • Opportunities to network with neighbors, organizations, and city leaders Recognitions will include Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, the Rising Youth Leader Award, and the Kathleen Klink Award for Neighborhood Leadership.
