Call for Sessions!

While it's not available yet, residents, organizations, and local groups are invited to submit session ideas or express interest in becoming a community partner for the 2026 Summit. Sessions should reflect the Connecting on Purpose theme and highlight connection, collaboration, inclusion, and neighborhood pride. 

The form will be made to the public starting November 15th, so be on the lookout via 17STRONG's website and Facebook!

17STRONG’s fourth annual Hamilton Neighborhoods Summit will be taking place on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at Hamilton High School, located at 1165 Eaton Avenue.

The 17STRONG Board and the City of Hamilton are proud to announce the 2026 Hamilton Neighborhoods Summit, themed “Connecting on Purpose.”

This theme captures the mission of 17STRONG: strengthening Hamilton one neighborhood at a time by building intentional connections among residents, organizations, and community partners. Connecting on Purpose reminds us that community doesn’t just happen by chance; it happens when people show up, reach out, and work together toward a shared vision for their city.

The 2026 Summit will bring together residents from all 17 neighborhoods for a day filled with inspiration, collaboration, and celebration, featuring:

  • Engaging breakout sessions and community-led discussions

  • Recognition of local leaders through the annual 17STRONG Awards

  • Opportunities to network with neighbors, organizations, and city leaders Recognitions will include Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, the Rising Youth Leader Award, and the Kathleen Klink Award for Neighborhood Leadership.
